Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
The Health Screener monitors incoming associates, providers, and visitors at designated screening stations located in order to manage the spread of infection to staff and patients.
Responsible for administering questionnaires and temperature check to persons upon arrival and using this information to allow or reject entrance to the facility.

- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions.

- Ability to intake multiple pieces of information from multiple sources, prioritize and summarize in a clear and concise manner.
- Ethical understanding of patient processes, confidentiality, and personal health information management.
- Attention to detail.
- Directly administers medical questionnaires to staff, contractors, patients, and visitors entering MLH facilities and provides direction based on the results of the questionnaire.
- Administers and interprets the temperature of an individual utilizing temporal thermometers per MLH guidelines.
- Communicates outcomes of screening, permitting or denying entrance according to established protocols.
- Communicating MLH visitation policies and other information to customers.
- Wears appropriate PPE and disperses PPE to visitors and staff as needed.
- The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
- Must have good balance and coordination.
- The physical requirements of this position are:
light work - exerting up to 25 lbs.
of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs.
of force frequently. - The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
