Current Need
A Site Security Manager is needed for our 24x7 National Redistribution Center in Olive Branch, MS.
Position Description
Primary focus on providing security and safety for the Memphis regional and local distribution centers. Responsibilities also include: local and nationwide travel as directed to, oversee onsite contract guard force, investigations/interrogations as appropriate into fraud and theft, site assessments and physical security reviews, interaction with local/state/federal law enforcement, security education and awareness of site operations management, enforce compliance with federal narcotic regulations, and corporate security initiatives. Reports to Director of Corporate Security.
Minimum Requirements
3
years safety/security experience and demonstrated leadership skills.
Critical Skills
Knowledge of physical security systems and standards to include: access control, camera systems, perimeter/interior protection, burglar alarm and fire systems
Extensive in interrogation techniques, and applied experience with interviewing employees involved with varying investigations.
Experience in conducting investigations into theft, proprietary information loss, financial fraud, general liability/worker's comp, and HR issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prepare, articulate and present reports for executive review.
Must be self-directed, extremely well organized and able to prioritize multiple projects effectively.
Must be able to respond to crisis situations if needed, maintain calm demeanor and make immediate decisions when called upon.
Must be comfortable using all Microsoft Office Products, and current computer technology.
Will have local law enforcement contacts, and must stay updated on local/regional issues surrounding the industry and react appropriately.
Understands business and analytical approaches to security funding and its' relation to organizations' needs.
Must be willing to travel locally and nationally as needed.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Several years combined experience in corporate security and law enforcement/military and/or government security, highly preferred.
A working knowledge of transportation/logistics industry and cargo theft possibilities preferred.

Education
4-year degree or related field or equivalent experience
Bachelors degree in a related field ( criminal justice, security or security management) is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
CPP preferred, or ability to obtain quickly
