Current Need
Position Description
Responsible for supporting functional processes and procedures in Manhattan's Warehouse Management Systems and Warehouse Controls (WCS) systems enforcing SOPs and adhering to compliance requirements. Monitor system performance ensuring required servers are operational and functional. Troubleshoot and run diagnostic tests to detect machine or system malfunctions and determine appropriate action for resolution. Using appropriate SLA procedure, escalate issues related to production, servers, or network outages and based on severity, communicate to the appropriate level of management. Able to assist DC associates with password resets, RF configuration, printer resets and or DC printing issues, Motorola Spectrum 24 equipment, and access point troubleshooting. Clean, maintain, document, and send out for repair production printers. Keeps track of inventory supplies related to computer or IT equipment and supplies needed to operate printers and equipment including wireless remote devices. Performs processes associated with audit requirements including documentation, ISeries tape backup procedures, and maintaining server room access logs updated. Other duties as assigned.
In a centralized environment, responsible for setting up, coordinating, and monitoring the operation of computer equipment. May involve verifying data and performing clerical tasks in the data processing function. Examines, revises, approves and dispatches input and output materials according to established specifications. Using established programs and procedures, manipulates controls in accordance with standard procedures, runs diagnostic tests to detect machine malfunctions, and monitors control panels, magnetic tape units, and other peripheral equipment. Reports any observed deviations from standard performance. These positions may be on varying shifts and cross-shift work may be required.

Additional Knowledge & Skills
Some knowledge of Computer Operations Support; Data processing experience, reading, writing, and intermediate arithmetic skills, ability to use specialized equipment, maintain written records, and operate workstation PC equipment.
