Job Description :
Position Summary:
Provide project support for both the plant facilities and production through assuring proper manning of skills in the maintenance and other groups. plan and perform diversified safety related activities to ensure that the plan is in compliance with OSHA and other regulations. This includes the investigation of all safety complaints to determine whether a hazard exists and to take corrective action where necessary. Recommend proper action to assure that the energy use is controlled and cost held to a minimum. Contract with outside contractors when needed and obtain the optimum in service for the best cost. Assist in obtaining optimum utilization of available floor space and housekeeping of the facility.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
Interacts with all departments within the facility. Use of judgment in analysis of facts and circumstances surrounding individual problems and action to be take within limits of standard practice. under direction of superior where definite objectives are established. Plans and arranges own work, referring only unusual cases to supervisor.
Essential Functions:
- To plan and perform diversified plant engineering duties involving coordination of facilities (buildings and grounds), maintenance and equipment.
- Must continuously maintain the highest degree of customer service, throughput, quality, cost reduction and people productivity.
Job Requirements :
Qualifications:- BS Degree in industrial engineering or equivalent with three years related experience.
