Job Summary The Senior Manager, Business Process/Six Sigma will support the team partnering within McKesson Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services. Interacting with SVP/VPs and senior directors. Mentors and supports process improvement projects within and across business unit and multiple functions of high complexity. These projects are identified and scoped independently. Cost savings potential of projects generally in the six- to eight-figure range. Provide consultative services to our senior executives, business unit managers and Six Sigma team including financial reviews, business case development, and strategic project identification. Manage both tactical and strategic projects throughout various areas of the business to deliver incremental revenue, cost/expense reductions, and working capital optimization. To be a change agent driving cultural change focused on the success of our business and its customers Position Description Mentor and coaches Six Sigma team on tools, methodology and project approach, Plans, manages, and controls the activities of a team that provides operational support for a business segment, group or team Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures, etc. Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners and internal clients Lead or direct the work of other team members who are responsible for assisting in the delivery of objectives Manage and support Six Sigma team on education, training, and providing client-facing opportunities Coordinate effective communication and change management for solutions to ensure adoption and achievement of desired outcomes Qualifications Minimum Requirements 5
years' experience, at least four of which is in project management or process improvement full-time in the Healthcare Industry Six Sigma Black Belt level training/certification required Critical Skills 2
year of Leadership and Coaching experience required Strong working knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, and Workout tools, problem solving / root cause analysis and process management Strong financial analysis, P&L interpretation, financial acumen - ability to calculate cost benefit analysis and ROI, and help identify financial savings Data analysis skills, interpretation, and evaluation of reports Strong verbal and written communication skills PC skills:
Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio) Exceptional business acumen/aptitude, strong problem solving, and decision-making skills Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization Additional Knowledge & Skills Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desirable Solid writing, presentation, and negotiation skills Self-motivated, organized and capable of handling multiple responsibilities and projects to successful completion Strong project management skills Strong change management skills highly desired Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and methodologies including DMAIC, Lean, Kaizen, Workout, and DFSS Education 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience. Graduate degree preferred.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Process ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
